Motel 6 Port Lavaca, TX

definitely recommend staying there, the people at the front desk are very respectful and friendly, jacob the employee there is always the one to check us in and out he definitely has a great attitude always making our staying feel very homey and comfortable for us! the rooms are always very clean and organized and most definitely comfortable enough to rest right after a long day at work.

My husband and I stay at this Motel 6 at least twice a year and have always had a nice stay. The last time was February 2025 for our anniversary and I left my diamond earrings on the nightstand behind the phone. We were halfway home before realizing it, and I immediately called Jacob at the front desk. Being the wonderful, amazing person he is, he told me not to worry and went to find my earrings. Luckily, they were still there! Jacob took it upon himself to safely secure my earrings in a package and mailed them to my home! I appreciate Jacob, his kindness, integrity, and treating my husband and I like friends not just customers every time we are there. The rooms are clean, close to everything we need, and always reasonably priced. But it's employees like Jacob that keep us coming back.

Perfect if you want to goto a dance at the Bauer center and walk to your room. They also have a bar connected to it. The pool was beautiful.. it's also really close to the light house beach. The room were perfect and clean. They also have smoking rooms. We will definitely be staying here again!

From the moment we arrived at this hotel, the front office personnel was very welcoming and friendly. My room was very clean, and we'll put together. The highlight of my entire stay was actually when we checked out; since I traveled to this location from Houston, Texas, there was no way I was going to return an hour after departure, and realizing my necklace was left in the room. I called the hotel and spoke to the manager, Jacob, who was extremely helpful by mailing the necklace to my home at no charge - that level of customer service is commendable and major kudos to Jacob!!

Room was very clean, Front desk was amazing help, everything was super close (Walmart down the road) super convenient. 10/10 Recommend. Will definitely be back soon.

My family was displaced by hurricane beryl. We were lucky enough to have found a room and stayed for a week. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff are incredibly nice. The staff as a whole were so incredibly accommodating, professional and kind. Jacob is such a fantastic asset to this location. He made us feel like family. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Great budget hotel! It is an older building, but freshly remodeled. Our room was very clean and beds were comfy. We brought our own breakfast & stored in the mini fridge to microwave. Brought our own coffee pot. We recommend & would stay here again.

This is the best bang for your buck. My wife and I stayed here on a little fishing trip. Very clean room, GREAT A/C, Comfy bed, we had our boat with us and there really is no trailer parking area, but they were very accommodating and made it work. We are already planning to come back again.
